Welcome to Ketosis Videos, a compilation of ketone, ketosis and healthy lifestyle videos. The three molecules pictured at the top of the page are different forms of ketones, which you'll learn more about from these videos.

I've been collecting YouTube video links pertaining to all aspects of ketosis and healthy eating for a couple of years. This site was created so you can easily watch the most informative videos on a variety of ketosis-related topics. I've made extensive use of YouTube video playlists to group these videos into various categories. Hopefully these videos fundamentally change the way you think about what you put into your body.

Good Luck!

What is Ketosis?

If you're new to ketosis, this is a great place to start. These doctors will bring you up to speed on what ketones, ketosis and the ketogenic diet are all about. These videos should help you decide that switching from burning dirty glucose fuel to clean ketone fuel is something you need to do!

The Truth About Sugar.

Most of us know that too much sugar is not good for our health. But even if you cut out "sweets" it doesn't mean you've given up sugar. These videos will show you just how bad sugar is and how a lot of it is getting into your body without you even realizing it.

What's 8x More Addictive Than Cocaine, Sugar!

No one would ever consider letting their child have cocaine, but we let them have sugar, and it's even more addictive. Plus, too much sugar in the diet can have significant health affects. If you watched Calgary Avansino's video in the previous section, you can see how easy it is to consume too much sugar, even if you think you're eating healthy. So, please ask yourself, how much sugar do I want my child to have each day? After watching these next videos, I think you'll agree it should be as close to zero as possible!

Insulin and Type 2 Diabetes.

If you are concerned about Type 2 Diabetes, or know someone who is, please watch this video. What we are being told about Type 2 Diabetes and Insulin is just plain wrong!

Low Fat is healthy, Right?

Why have we been told, for the past 50+ years, that fat is bad? Well, you can partially blame that on Dr. Ansel Keys, and the not so scientific paper he published in the 1950's.

A Different Way to Look at Food.

Most people take food for granted. We just assume that we eat because we're hungry and we should try to follow a healthy diet. But food is a lot more important to being healthy than we realize. Food is the best medicine we could ever ask for!

The Benefits of Eating One Meal a Day.

I personally didn't start out with the goal of eating only one meal a day, but that's where I ended up. I started out just wanting to follow a Ketogenic Diet and lose about 25 pounds. Well that happened, but along the way I found myself getting into an interesting daily meal routine. For breakfast I have a large, fat infused cup of coffee. I use Butter, Cinnamon, MCT Oil Powder and Truvia sweetner. For lunch I have a serving of Exogenous Ketones mixed in about 20 ounces of Unsweetened Almond Milk. And for dinner I eat a health, high fat (75%), moderate protein (20%), low carb (5%) meal. I've found that this routine seems very odd to many people. The question everyone asks is, "Don't you get hungry?" Well, I don't. The fat and ketones provide my body with plenty of fuel to get me through to dinner. I think you'll see from these videos that One Meal a Day is closer to how we're supposed to eat than the traditional Three Meals a Day.

Cholesterol is Really Bad, Right?

There's a pretty good chance that your doctor either wants to put you on statin drugs, or already has, to lower your cholesterol. And these wonder drugs will lower your cholesterol and help you live longer, right? Maybe not on either count.

This is Your Brain on Ketones!

Recent studies are revealing just how important Ketones are for our brain. After seeing this video, I for one do not want to subject my brain to glucose alone. Ketones appear to be important at all ages, from infants to the elderly, and especially for those with brain disorders.

What You Probably Didn't Know About Alzheimer's Disease.

Most of us believe that Alzheimer's Disease symptoms cannot easily be prolonged or reversed. However, it appears that ketones might play an important role in doing just that. Learn about the amazing results achieved with ketones produced through something as simple as the consumption of coconut oil.

What Are Exogenous Ketones and How Were They Developed?

By now you probably realize that ketosis is good for two main reasons. First, to burn fat and second to fuel your body with a better fuel than glucose. But a strict ketogenic diet is no longer the only way to get ketones into your body. Learn how Dr. Dominic D'Agostino's research on brain seisures in Navy Seals has lead to the development of ketones we can drink.

It is our sincere hope that you have found the information on this Ketosis Videos site informative. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for improvements or to correct any mistakes you may find. Best of Luck!
